Infestation of Cyprinid fishes by opisthorchisis in ponds of Khanty – Mansiysk Autonomous District

Revealed high opisthorchiasis infection rate of Khanty-Mansiysk District population determined the necessity to investigate the current state of O.felineus infestation in the ponds of Nizhnevartovsk town and Nizhnevartovsk district. Investigations were carried out in 2005-2013 ( for 8 years). Infestation of 4 fish species has been found. Recommendations for this disease prevention are presented.

The results of the water vole populations studies carried out by Rospotrebnadzor institutions in 2011-2014 are considered. According to result of direct and indirect (signs of vital functions) accounts Arvicola amphibius is registered in the territory of 33 subjects of the Russian Federation. This species numbers is noted to be low. As a result of laboratory researches it’s revealed the circulation of tularemia, leptospirosis, listeriosis, pseudotuberculosis, as well as hantaviruses pathogens in water vole populations.

 Resistance to insecticides in bed bugs populations from different countries in 2001-2014

The data on the distribution and insecticide resistance of bed bugs Cimex lectularius L. populations in different countries (United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain, the USA, Australia and Russia) are sited in this paper.These insects is found to be highly resistant to pyrethroids, particularly deltamethrin, cypermethrin and their analogues, a lesser extent – to organophosphorus and carbamate insecticides and they are sensitive to neonicotinoids.
