The sensitivity of ixodic ticks of the species Dermacentor reticulatus to preparations containing cypermethrin and the combination of fentione+cypermethrin as the active substance (DV) was studied. The high acaricide efficiency of the emulsion concentrate based on a binary mixture of fentione (40% DV) and cypermethrin (10% DV) was established.

The brief review considers the problem of the emergence of infectious diseases as a motive for the formation of a new global concept «One Health». From this point of view a very important phenomenon of biological invasions is discussed. The main attention is paid to the wild European boar its ecological and epidemiological harmfulness as an invasive species, agricultural pest and dangerous animal among large mammals which is associated with a number of objective circumstances of the current period in veterinary epidemiology caused by the African swine fever pandemic on the territory of Eurasia.

Keywords: emergence, «One Health», biological invasions, wild boar.

The article reports the detection of Bacillus subtilis strain with acaricidal properties against pyroglyphid mites. The strain was isolated from laboratory cultures of house dust mites Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae. Long-term cultivation (16 weeks) of D. pteronyssinus and D. farinae was carried out on a substrate containing B. subtilis. B. subtilisfree cultures were control ones. The microflora of the experimental and control mite cultures was analyzed. It was shown that isolated B. subtilis strain had acaricidal properties against pyroglyphid mites. Sequencing of the 16S rRNA was performed; the obtained nucleotide sequence was deposited in GenBank (accession number MN079011). The strain was deposited in VKM (VKM B-3395).

Kеywords: house dust mites, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, D. farinae, Bacillus subtilis, acaricide.

In the conditions of a pandemic, disinfecting solutions in large-volume containers can be used in medical institutions, specialized institutions and housing and communal facilities without specifying the type and batch of products. Manufacturers explain this circumstance in fact by the terms of delivery, meanwhile, there may be both confusion and accidental improper use (dilution/application) of disinfectant solutions. It is possible that some part of the funds that the staff can contact in the medical facility will turn out to be a fake, or undeclared components will be intentionally added to the funds, «enhancing», according to the manufacturers, the final effectiveness of the disinfecting compositions. It is worth noting that ready-made working solutions of the products usually have a short shelf life after preparation, while monitoring the condition of such products, including those with missing/lost markings, is extremely important for understanding the disinfection situation not only in medical facilities, but also at facilities where permanent treatments are carried out due to compliance with epidemiological rules in a pandemic. In this study, approaches to the analysis of disinfection profile products of unknown composition will be considered. Several specific examples of definitions are given. A clear scheme of sequential actions is presented, including nine stages, through the passage of which it is possible to obtain the necessary information about the composition and content of infectious substances. The possibility of joint and separate determination, including by chromatographic methods (HPLC and GC), of most classes of substances currently used is shown. References are given both to the original methods and to the current regulatory documents in the field of conformity assessment. The prospects of expanding the proposed scheme for screening difficult-to-determine substances with disinfecting properties (whose molecules simultaneously carry the functionality of several classes of disinfection substances), the expert evaluation of which is significantly difficult, are considered.
